Golf Roma - Acqusanta

Golf has been played at Acquasanta, with is reputedly medicinal waters, for more than seventy years. Here the Rome Golf Club, set in low hills and crossed by meandering streams.

The course offers luxuriant golf in historic surroundings with views of old aqueducts and the  St. Peter’s chapel and the legendary Appian way. Is short by championship standards but tight enough to be testing. Strategically placed pines and other trees guard the fairways, and the network of streams form a hazard at several holes. The condition of this well-watered course is always superb, as might be expected of such an exclusive club. It is fairly level to play, with particularly featureless and deceptive greens.
